Description
Arab Spain at the beginning of the 11th century is fracturing amidst conflicts and intrigues. A Basque archer from the mountains longs to save his groat, which leads him to become a horse thief. On one of his expeditions, he encounters an orphaned nobleman's daughter, condemned to a dull life as a castle servant. The two inadvertently interfere with the kings' plans and awaken the hatred of Spin de Mula, a demonic sorcerer who distorts human souls. Their fates intertwine as Muslim and Christian rulers alternately fight and forge political alliances, Iberian gods face both Islam and Christ, and marauding Vikings sail in from the North...
