Description
The former warship Vrtoshivá Fena and its unconventional crew receive an order from the Rescue Corps to verify an emergency call from the human spacecraft Spirit of Lucy. Its crew had to abandon it when it was heavily damaged and take refuge on an abandoned ship launched by the alien race of Nymtoq thousands of years ago. However, the enormous ship hides its own deadly secrets. Only a few minutes remain until the execution of the war criminal Ona Sudak. At the last moment, however, she is whisked away from death row by an unknown commando. The Marble Fleet has requested her as an observer and intermediary in the ruthless enforcement of peace across the human Majority. The Fleet's ships do not tolerate resistance, and any rebellion is crushed by overwhelming force. When they conclude that Vrtoshivá Fena must be eliminated, the fight for survival begins.
