Description
At the interface of the field and the forest, two little houses press close together. You would hardly notice them. They fit just right in the palm of your hand. Who lives in them? In the nice, tidy one lives a little fairy girl named Violka with her mother. In the other, messy one live the ghosts called Šišákovi and their curious, restless son Fujtíšek. Both families spend most of the year acting as if they don't know each other. However, a year is a long time, and many cheerful, exciting, and adventurous events can happen during it. Violka and Fujtíšek, sometimes alone and sometimes together, experience what it's like to go to forest school and kindergarten for the first time, tame a shrew, ride in a cart pulled by meadow grasshoppers, run away from a toad, fight a spider, or dance by the moonlight. And when it gets tough, the fairies and the ghosts can ultimately lend each other a helping hand.
