Description
This German-Czech parallel text for beginners tells the story of the young Bavarian princess Elisabeth, known as Sissi. Like her father, the energetic Sissi loves animals and nature. When her older sister Helena is expected to marry the Habsburg emperor Franz Joseph, Sissi, Helena and their mother travel to a small Alpine village where the wedding is to be arranged. After meeting Sissi, however, the young emperor falls in love with her and breaks off his engagement to Helena.
