Description
The story of a green notebook that connects the fates of six people and creates unexpected bonds of friendship and love among them. Julia Jessop, a lonely old painter, realizes that most people are not honest with each other. Therefore, she writes the truth about herself in an ordinary notebook and leaves it on the table in a local café. This café belongs to Monika, who adds her own truthful confession to the notebook and leaves it in a nearby bar. There, it is found by Hazard, a drug addict and alcoholic, who promises himself that he will stay clean once and for all. The notebook gradually circulates from one person to another, capturing their innermost thoughts, desires, and addictions. Soon, they all converge in Monika's café, where this mismatched and bizarre group of people discovers that honesty truly has the power to change their lives for the better, even though the truth sometimes hurts.
