Description
This Czech-language escape book follows Sergio Marquina, known as the Professor and leader of the greatest heist in Spanish history, and Jero Lamarca, a boy he befriended during part of his childhood spent in hospital. The two supported each other, with Sergio inventing riddles and games for Jero, while Jero taught him how to fold paper birds. Years later, after the robbery of the State Mint, Sergio reappears. Jero, struggling from one failure to the next, receives a package containing an unsigned letter, a notebook, a locked box, a photograph of a Dalí mask and a red paper bird. He realises that Sergio has hidden part of the loot somewhere, offering him a chance to start again, but he must decipher the clues left behind. Letters describing the robbery intertwine with Jero’s story as he follows mysterious hints towards the hidden goal. If he solves every puzzle, ten million euros await him.
