Description
A tragicomic story of one day when a summer music festival in the industrial-magical city of Ostrava strangely intertwines the fates of several seemingly ordinary people. A young single IT guy, his much older married colleague, a payroll accountant living with a psychiatrist, a co-owner of a small auto repair shop whose wife has left him, brothers who formed a rock band, a divorced kindergarten teacher, two high school students, a mentally disabled coffee seller, a widowed retired teacher, a pair of patrolling police officers, a "health brother," and a frail nine-year-old naturalist. However, all these seemingly insignificant and even boring people have their own frustrations and fears, but also dreams and desires that are far from ordinary and uninteresting. Likewise, the city of Ostrava, where this story takes place, might seem ordinary, perhaps even gray and ugly – but this city also has its almost magical charm; you just need to know how to look closely.
