Hugleikur Dagsson is an Icelandic cartoonist, writer, and comedian, born in 1977, who has been breathing air and making jokes ever since.

In winter, the sun shines in Iceland for only three hours a day. In summer, the sun never sets in Iceland. The national drink of Iceland is called 'Black Death.' The national dish of Iceland is fermented shark meat. His books are cult bestsellers in Iceland.

He is known for his simple style and a lot of dark humor. Five of his books have been published in Czech, titled 'Should I Laugh at This?', 'Is This Supposed to Be Funny?', 'Is This Some Kind of Joke?', 'Popular Hits', and 'You Are Zeros,' which aptly capture his work – either you'll be rolling on the floor laughing, or Dagsson's drawings will immediately shock and repel you.
