Namaste – Štorm František (2021)

The author's ashram is a street, a carriage of an Indian express train, a dirty diner where rickshaw drivers and students go. The indescribable charm of misery can be drawn: pressed into the tip of a pencil and smudged with a finger. Stories of ordinary people, but also dramas that unfold in the mind of a traveler who struggles to understand the meaning of that colorful hustle and bustle. An excursion into the highest spiritual level while weaving through feces. The life of medieval tribal villagers, a society struggling with plastics and concrete. The love and piety of farmers in remote valleys beneath tea plantations, the modesty of a barefoot collector of coconut nectar, the vanishing beach idyll, and conversations with Brahmins in the mountains. A quirky picture very far from idealized travelogues. Half of the square book, which follows last year's title Builders, consists again of illustrations.
