Křesťanská astrologie – Lilly William (2015)

A significant astrological work, written by the renowned English astrologer William Lilly (1602–1681), who is best known for his predictions of the fires of London and the fates of English kings and nobles, is being published in the Czech lands for the first time. The text is a translation of the original Renaissance work, from which contemporary astrologers still draw. This captivating work introduces readers to horary astrology. The first part introduces the art of astrology and discusses the character of the twelve zodiac signs and individual planets using ephemerides. The second part provides a detailed introduction to the individual houses and offers a methodological guide on how to work with clients' inquiries; Lilly analyzes questions regarding marriage, property, health and illness, lifespan, death, and many others in detail through various examples. The third part is dedicated to working with the natal horoscope and presents several different ways of assessing the stellar influence on the fate of the native, discussing the significance of planetary transits and progressions.
