An authorial original German dictionary. Our aim in its creation was to capture the actual vocabulary of both Czech and German in the most concise yet clear form possible. Although it is a medium-sized dictionary, in terms of its content and scope, it ranks more among the larger dictionaries on our market. Entries, meanings, phrases, and established collocations were selected primarily based on their frequency and usefulness for both casual and more demanding language users. Despite its general focus, the dictionary also includes specialized terminology from the fields of economics, law, science and technology, and other areas. It offers a wealth of completely new and currently relevant expressions, including colloquial terms. All entries and meanings are verified based on information from reliable sources, carefully processed, and graphically adjusted to enable you to quickly not only find the correct translation but also use it correctly in the given context. This is supported, among other things, by numerous clarifying contextual notes and relevant prepositional phrases, which are often essential for using the given equivalent, yet are often missing in many dictionaries.
