Description
Several nuclear warheads have gone missing from the Pakistani army's storage, and CIA agent Mitch Rapp is tasked with preventing them from falling into the hands of terrorists from the so-called Islamic State. However, along with his colleague and friend Scott Coleman, he discovers that the Russians are also interested in the nuclear arsenal, but for a different reason than the American intelligence agency. It soon becomes clear that certain forces around Russian President Krupin are interested in inciting chaos and unrest in the Middle East. They believe that the destabilization of the entire oil-rich region will allow for economic growth in Russia and significantly strengthen their homeland's political influence in the world. Rapp needs to get as close as possible to the people who are to carry out the treacherous action, and therefore he ultimately has to pose as an American recruit for ISIS. But among the terrorists, he faces an opponent stronger than anyone expected.
