Description
This new university textbook presents the latest knowledge in the field of administrative procedural law. The first part clearly explains the constitutional and international-law aspects of the requirements for fair proceedings in public administration, as well as the essential features of the most important types of procedural action in public administration. The second part provides a comprehensive analysis of the general regulation of administrative proceedings and the enforcement of decisions by administrative authorities. Although the wording of the Administrative Procedure Act has changed over the years only through partial amendments, the interpretation of its provisions continues to develop, also thanks to judicial decisions. A new generation of judges in Slovakia brings fresh perspectives on the interpretation of procedural-law institutions. The application of the Administrative Procedure Code by administrative courts also plays an important role and significantly influences the procedures followed by public administration authorities.
