The teaching aid for university education in social security law is clearly organized according to individual social security systems and presents their key institutes in an understandable manner. In its seventh edition, it has been updated as of October 1, 2025. The significantly revised edition primarily addresses changes in sickness and pension insurance and extensive changes in the legal regulation related to the new state social assistance benefit.

The chapters are dedicated to individual subsystems of social security (sickness, pension, and health insurance, payment of contributions for these insurances, authority and jurisdiction of social security bodies, decision-making on individual social benefits, state social support, social assistance, etc.) and are divided into the following parts:

The introduction outlines the issues and identifies the key problems of the topic, citing legal sources. This is followed by model examples with detailed solutions and references to legal regulations, including a brief analysis of the legal terms used.
