Description
The collection contains twelve student papers from an outbound seminar on constitutional law, held in April 2024 by the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Pec pod Snezkou. The contributions focus on the analysis of the role and position of the head of state in various constitutional systems, combining theoretical reflections with comparative examples. The greatest attention is devoted to the Czech Republic, but examples from other countries are also discussed, including those less common in this context (e.g., Montenegro). The contributions address topics such as the direct election of the president, the legal nature of presidential acts, the financing of presidential campaigns, and remonarchization in some states. The book offers interesting perspectives for anyone interested in current constitutional challenges and the role of the head of state in modern society.
