Being a self-employed person is not easy at all. It takes a bit of personal courage and a lot of patience, as there are a huge number of obligations associated with entrepreneurship across the entire legal framework: in the areas of occupational safety, social security, human resources, hygiene, and of course, taxes. The state, which is also according to the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court a result of a social contract, should therefore always carefully weigh the introduction of each new obligation that makes it harder for entrepreneurs to operate. In this implementation, lawmakers should very carefully assess whether this additional obligation is truly necessary and whether it does not disproportionately worsen the business environment. These measures should not be evaluated in isolation, but rather in the context of the limitations of existing ones.
