The second part of the textbook on the fundamentals of contractual law presents the key areas of the special part of contractual law after recodification in a clear and comprehensible manner. In the second edition, changes in legal regulations and the latest case law have been incorporated into the textbook. The authors analyze 24 selected types of contracts from the Civil Code. Attention is focused on the most commonly used types of contracts, such as donations, sales, works, and leases. The textbook also comments on contracts that are new to Czech law compared to the previous state, such as loan agreements, leases, health care contracts, and life annuities. The next part of the book addresses individual cases of compensation for damages, including compensation for damages in the exercise of public authority or issues of harm to life and health. The explanation concludes with obligations arising from unjust enrichment. The publication emphasizes the practical aspects of the issues, processes relevant court case law, and supplements the explanations with illustrative examples and diagrams. The textbook is primarily intended for students of law and related fields with a focus on private law, and it will also serve graduates of law faculties preparing for professional exams, as well as practicing lawyers.
