Globálna občianska spoločnosť v kontexte medzinárodných vzťahov a medzinárodného práva – Saktorová Lubica (2021)

The publication focuses on the examination of global civil society as an actor in international relations with the potential and capacity to influence decision-making processes, measures, and tools through which the international community operates in order to eliminate tensions and conflicts between state and non-state actors. It is oriented towards demonstrating the relevance of global civil society, as well as providing a comprehensive coverage of the issues surrounding its interventions and spheres of influence within selected tools of international peace policy. This is supplemented by a single-case analysis focused on the two most well-known and largest initiatives of its actors at the global level. The aim of the publication is to declare the relevance of global civil society as an actor in international relations that has the potential to influence decision-making processes in the creation and application of tools, measures, and strategies aimed at eliminating the threats of the emergence and escalation of international conflict or its complete resolution.
