Description
The textbook of legal French serves as a guide for studying legal terminology and also as an introduction to French law. In fourteen lessons, it familiarizes students with branches of law, sources of law, French constitutional law, judiciary, and criminal procedure. Each lesson is divided into three parts. The first part is dedicated to French law, the second to understanding texts through authentic legal sources, and the third provides a concise overview of grammar. All lessons include key vocabulary and exercises of both grammatical and lexical nature. The final lesson is dedicated to playing and reviewing vocabulary. The textbook concludes with an answer key to the exercises and a French-Czech dictionary of legal terminology, mastery of which is a fundamental prerequisite for communication in legal language.
