Description
The publication provides a unique analysis of key aspects of international private insurance law. The book primarily focuses on insurance for entrepreneurs but also reflects the specifics of international contractual insurance relationships that arise between entrepreneurs and consumers. The monograph includes not only an analysis of the theoretical aspects of the examined issues but also solutions to questions that arise in legal practice within international economic relations. The significance of international legal regulation of insurance is demonstrated by the author through recent case law from the Court of Justice of the European Union and national courts. Furthermore, the author pays attention to the Principles of European Contractual Insurance Law from 2016, INCOTERMS 2010 (2020), and the Institute Cargo Clauses 2009. A separate chapter is dedicated to cybersecurity insurance, which is, among other things, one of the ways to transfer business risks associated with cyberattacks to insurers.
