Veřejné stavební investice – group of authors (2019)

The publication summarizes in a clear manner the topics that individuals involved in the implementation of public construction investments must address. It contains insights and recommendations from the perspective of project management, project evaluation, risk management, supplier selection, contractual relationships, scheduling, budgeting, building energy efficiency, construction diagnostics, and the safety of construction objects. It is a summary of knowledge from the fields of construction, law, and economics. The book is primarily intended for employees of public procurers; however, representatives of designers, public procurement administrators, investor technical supervisors, grant managers, and construction entrepreneurs will also find useful information in it. The insights provided can also be successfully utilized by private investors, for whom the obligation to select suppliers through the procedure defined by the Public Procurement Act is simply waived. The ambition of the authorial collective was to contribute to improving mutual understanding among the various actors in construction projects and thus help improve the situation in the construction sector.
