Velký česko-německý slovník pro veřejnou správu – Kaňa Antonín (2019)

This extensive dictionary, with over 20,000 Czech terms and their corresponding German equivalents, focused on Czech public administration, aims to fill a certain gap in our dictionary market. It includes terminology from all areas of public administration, emphasizing its reform and modernization, as well as related legal, economic, and financial concepts. In its first edition (published by Linde in Prague in 2011), it was a response to the significant systemic changes in territorial administration at that time, as well as to our country's accession to the EU and the deepening cross-border cooperation with partners from German-speaking countries. In its second edition (published by Leges in 2018), the dictionary responds to extensive projects related to the gradual implementation of the 'Strategic Framework for the Development of Public Administration of the Czech Republic for the period 2014-2020.' In particular, it addresses new terms arising from the Civil Service Act and new (updated) terms related to changes in legislation in the field of public procurement. In connection with the ongoing digitization of agendas performed by public authorities and active communication with citizens through new media, the number of terms from the area of eGovernment has also significantly increased.
