Description
Connecting the world under the banner of globalization offers stimuli for comparing lifestyles, governance structures, and legal rules to a greater extent than was common in the past. Legal science is among the fields where the comparative approach is developing very dynamically. The book presents two studies primarily dedicated to comparisons in constitutional law, but it does not shy away from more general questions regarding the methods, advantages, and limits of legal comparatism as a whole. The first study has a more general nature, while the second focuses primarily on the use of comparative arguments and foreign law in the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic.
