The practical guide clearly explains the individual institutes of the new law on liability for misdemeanors and the proceedings related to them. The new legal regulation primarily abolishes the dualism of misdemeanors and other administrative offenses and introduces many new institutes that were previously unknown in the area of misdemeanor agenda. The substantive part of the guide contains an interpretation of the first and second parts of the new misdemeanor law. This is followed by a procedural part that respects the position of the misdemeanor law as a special regulation in relation to the Administrative Procedure Code. At the same time, it emphasizes the comparison of individual procedural institutes with the previous Act No. 200/1990 Coll., which will allow the reader to quickly orient themselves in the new legal regulation.
