Description
The publication defines the criteria by which the essential elements of a democratic rule of law can be identified, and by applying them, it delineates the content of this concept. The book is divided into three main parts. The first part is dedicated to defining the concept of the rule of law and comparing it with the concept of the rule of law. The second part compares the definition of the content of the concept of a democratic rule of law in Czech professional literature and in the case law of the Constitutional Court, and subsequently, selected components are analyzed in more detail. The third part focuses directly on the concept of the essential elements of a democratic rule of law, its content, and its role in the constitutional system of the Czech Republic. The author received an honorary recognition from the rector of Palacký University in Olomouc for the year 2016 for the book.
