Description
Public international law is a legal field that has developed exceptionally dynamically, especially in the last three decades, and given the increasingly intense involvement of the Czech Republic in international structures, it has become an indispensable component of knowledge for law students, even in the case of their work in the domestic application of law. The guide is not merely a classic collection of sources. It contains documents that are of fundamental importance for the international community as a whole, as well as documents serving as examples of relevant international legal (Czech) practice. It also reflects the current state and ongoing development of international law, for example, by including the first translation of the Draft Articles on the Responsibility of International Organizations, or the Convention on the Jurisdictional Immunities of States and Their Property. Each chapter is accompanied by a list of related documents, the inclusion of which is useful in case the reader is interested in a specific matter in greater depth. Some important documents also include basic information such as the date of entry into force of the international treaty, the number of contracting parties, or the number under which the treaty was published in the Czech Republic.
