Description
The third volume of the Great Commentary on the Civil Code completes the interpretation of its general part. It begins with a definition of the legal status of consumers and entrepreneurs, followed by commentary on three significant chapters of the general part: Chapter III: Representation, Chapter IV: Things and Their Division, and finally Chapter V: Legal Facts. This volume of the commentary is supplemented by an interpretation of related common and transitional provisions concerning the general part of the Civil Code, except for the regulation of legal entities, as this matter is covered in the second volume. The common provisions include Sections 3015–3020, 3023, 3026. Commentary on Sections 3021 and 3022 is included in the fourth volume, which deals with family law, while commentary on Sections 3024 and 3025 is found in the second volume, which contains an interpretation of legal entities. From the transitional provisions, this volume interprets the provisions of Sections 1 and 2 (Sections 3028 to 3037), except for Section 3035, which is commented on in the fourth volume due to its focus on family law.
