Description
This book is an expression of my desire to call us to the role of leaders for this time of disintegration, to embrace leadership as a noble profession that creates new possibilities and awakens humanity amidst growing fear and confusion. I know that leaders can use their power and influence, understanding and compassion to bring people to a new understanding of humanity, and to create conditions for the development of fundamental human qualities such as nobility, the desire to be useful, belonging, and love. I know that in times of tragedy and loss, we can experience moments of harmony and joy. I know that we can build islands of common sense amidst the raging sea of destruction. I know it is possible because for many years I have worked with leaders in places that have long known chaos and disintegration.
