The Horns of the Fauns is the third book in the Rafael's School series. It follows the first book subtitled Fairy Wings and the second subtitled Dances of the Nāga. Rafael's School is a mysterious romantic story with elements of healing, esotericism, and ecology. Before it was published in book form, the author shared it on her blog. It captivated not only school-aged girls but also older female readers of all ages. The author was inspired by her love for the Earth, nature, people, and herbs while writing. The story is set partly in our contemporary world, where in the Křivoklát forests you will find a natural science high school called Rafael's School. There, fourteen-year-old Marina Fialková has been studying for the third year, as her missing mother wished. Marina thus discovers that other half of existence, the invisible world behind the curtain. She searches for her mother and later for her fated love.
