He describes this as a second, partly forgotten way of perceiving the reality around us. This form of perception is not bound to logic or rationality, cannot be subjected to scientific verification, and thus belongs to poets, creative people, magicians, dreamers and shamans. Although we often feel that mythological perception is of no use to us, it is precisely this way of communicating with what is “greater” that can protect us from depression and show us a way out of life crises and supposedly hopeless situations, which may be useful right now.
