The sacred journey to discover the gifts, talents, and abilities of the feminine principle through the original Native American teaching of the Sisterhood. Jamie Sams, a member of the Wolf Clan Teacher's Lodge, brings us a new effective way to honor and incorporate indigenous women's wisdom into our everyday lives. Sams created the Thirteen Original Clan Mothers by connecting the rich oral tradition passed down to her by two Grandmothers from the Kiowa tribe – Cisi Laughing Crow and Berta Broken Bow – and her own experience of personal healing and guidance received from Elder women. Each Clan Mother brings specific teachings, relates to one cycle of the moon in the year, and embodies personal totems, talents, and gifts that can help each of us develop our own gifts and talents.
