Description
The imperial armies are defeated and driven out of the Netherlands and the left bank of the Rhine. The Holy Roman Empire is disintegrating under the influence of revolutionary ideas, its rulers in Germany are collaborating with Napoleon, and their main interest is to seize church properties. Nationalism and liberalism fill the void left by the retreating religion. The willingness to stand up to the dictator is waning, and even Emperor Francis II thinks only defensively. Despite the partial successes of Archduke Charles, the imperial forces are pushed out of Germany and Italy after the defeat in 1800. Church leaders are also trying to please the new power. Only a few consider saving the Holy Empire and the Church; Archduke Charles, Pope Pius VII, young Metternich, and others... They understand that it is not enough to defeat Napoleon militarily. What needs to be restored lies within the people. No conspiracy can succeed without the Holy Spirit as a member. A miracle is needed; otherwise, Europe will embark on an unfortunate path. And of course, Napoleon must also be killed. The fateful year 1805 is approaching.
