Description
Sad and humorous stories often hide the bitter old age of village women, especially if their health fails them and they cannot take care of themselves. And if they do not have kind children or, as they say, by the grace of God, they must wander the villages begging. They can end their lives tragically and without human help in the unfavorable harsh weather of the Highlands. They often helped children into the world, but sometimes they could also cause significant harm without reason; to themselves and to those around them. Problems, much more visible in the village, do not avoid the city either, nor the present time, which tries in vain to hide them.
