Lovy opředené vzpomínkami – Bouzek Ota (2022)

I was a forester, served my whole life in the Jeseníky Mountains, and my great hobby was hunting. As the head of the forest district, chief engineer, and director of the forestry enterprise, as well as the director of the forest production division in a joint-stock company, I was always very close to the practice of hunting rights. I proudly identified with those who had green blood just like me. I hunted various game either alone or accompanied invited hunting guests at the given time. I spent most days of my life working, but also hunting, in the midst of the Jeseníky Mountains, not far below Praděd. I spent a significant part of my life in the deep forests, for which I have often thanked my fate. Years passed like swift waters in a stream, and I dared to select and write down several hunting stories and something from my surely not wasted life as a forester in this book. I wish you, dear readers, a peaceful stroll through the pages of the book and perhaps along the paths of the beautiful Jeseníky that I have slightly opened for you.
