Description
Kaťa and Fanouš grow up in the families of gamekeepers in a remote estate in the middle of the woods and plan their future together. Their happiness ends when Fanouš has to go to war, a beautiful officer recovers in the lodge, and Kaťa, enchanted by love, leaves for Prague. However, everything ends tragically for her, and she returns back to Schönburg. Fanouš crosses over to the Russian side, experiences great tragedy after a brief happiness, and returns to his parents with his little son. Here, the fate of these young people, heavily tested, reunites again, and they begin a new life in the forest solitude.
