Vesnické povídky – Pittnerová Vlasta (2020)

The stories compiled in this book depict, as is typical for Vlasta Pittnerová, the small joys but primarily the hardships of the poor countryside in the 'Žďár Mountains.' Not all life stories and twists end well, just as is the case in life. The poignancy of some stories mixes with the harshness of the peasant condition, which has been revived today and seems incomprehensible to those who have never transformed wilderness into arable land.
