The author Naďa Dubcová has lived in Prague since birth, has two wonderful adult children, one great son-in-law, and three beautiful granddaughters. The book consists of short, mostly humorous texts, as she also enjoys humor and usually addresses even serious situations with it. About this new book, she says: 'This book is my third, and therefore it should be the most beautiful, as is often the case in fairy tales with princesses. The youngest is the most beautiful and the smartest. However, I add in one breath that the two older sisters are also not to be dismissed, just like my two previous books. The oldest is titled - It Starts with Noodles and Ends with a Knife in the Belly, the middle one - An Irregular Diary of a Czech Rentier, and the youngest is just on its way to you. I wish the youngest book, and myself, to find its kind readers, who liked its two older sisters, as well as new readers, to whom it will bring joy and comfort.'
