Description
In this narrative, a continuation of the previous book "From Moravia to Cape Horn... and Beyond," I have not strayed too far from the established standard. Besides the adventurous journey across the South American continent, where one rarely encounters foreigners, I again found myself in places where hundreds and thousands of tourists arrive. Once more, where many predecessors have stood before me, I discovered new adventures, written by history and the present. In the first part, you could learn the unknown about the Panama Canal, Colombian Cartagena, the green valley in the driest place on Earth in the Chilean Atacama Desert, the deadly Cape Horn, the largest waterfalls in the world, and the unknown Paraguay, where this story begins. It starts at the place where the first one ended – in the wild Chaco during the rainy season. You will read about the journey across Bolivia and Peru, about Colombian Bogotá, the infamously notorious city of drug cartels, about the islands belonging to the Dutch Kingdom, about paradise islands in the windward part of the Caribbean, and about the islands of ancient pirates. You will travel with the author from the Incas to the islands of nutmeg. (Part 2)
