The KuliFerda Workbook – Reading Comprehension contains a set of exercises and tasks for the Czech language curriculum for the first stage of elementary school. The workbook focuses on activities based on understanding the read text. The child develops their ability to comprehend the text, think about it, and perceive what they have read in relation to real life. The child asks questions about the text and seeks answers to them. In each chapter, children predict the subsequent events, engage with various questions from the text, look for connections, use their imagination, search for important information and main ideas, deal with the sequence of events, compare, deduce, summarize, and create.
