Kurz skupinového karierového poradce – Vosmik Miroslav (2021)

The publication "Course on Group Career Counseling" responds to the need for change occurring within career counseling and education. The dynamics of society, the variability of the labor market and career paths, pressures on personality in the work sphere—all of this is reflected in the school environment, which demands current methodological materials. The proposed course can be a suitable tool for all educators who address career orientation topics in their practice. The entire course is divided into modules, and in its design, we draw from internationally validated methods of career orientation, which we adapt for the school environment and the Czech context, supplemented with tested activities from real practice. Course modules: 1. What awaits us? Expectations, mutual acquaintance, and setting rules, goals, and priorities of the course. 2. My self. Focus on self-acceptance, changing perspectives, broadening context, activation, and motivation. 3. ME in relation. Overcoming obstacles, resolving conflicts, strengthening responsibility for oneself and the group. 4. The world of work. Information about the labor market and orientation in the labor market. 5. Choice. Analysis and mapping of potential, educational options (educational paths), and career choices. 6. Target area. Job searching.
