Prosociální činnosti v předškolním vzdělávání – Svobodová Eva (2022)

The publication "Prosocial Activities in Preschool Education" seeks ways to help children develop the ability for prosocial behavior, teaching them to be human beings in the fullest sense of the word. Prosociality, the ability to help others, is a prerequisite for a quality life in human society. The hopeful aspect is that we can develop this ability; we can learn it. And the earlier we start learning, the greater our chances of success. In preschool education, learning prosocial behavior should be a matter of course. Its foundations are represented in the key competencies that a child should achieve before starting school. The publication discusses the development of prosociality in preschool children in the environment of kindergarten. It is interspersed with practical examples, games, and methodological series, through which the authors demonstrate how we can develop the foundations of prosocial feelings and behavior in kindergarten while simultaneously guiding the child towards prosociality in all activities and forms of education encountered in kindergarten. The publication is primarily intended for preschool teachers. It will also be useful for parents or students of secondary, higher vocational, and university schools who are preparing to work with preschool children.
