Už mi to docvaklo aneb Spásu v právu nenajdeš! – Vyroubal Petr (2022)

We find ourselves in times when the law increasingly intrudes into our lives, hypertrophies, and in its application, salvation is vainly sought, just as it was once sought in the workings of the church. The author of the essays has dared to paraphrase its dogmatic postulate Extra ecclesiam nulla salus (Outside the church there is no salvation) for today's search for salvation in legal certainties.
Influenced by a holistic perception of life with elements of Buddhism, he offers, from his experience in legal practice, other than formal sources of knowledge about legal cases. He has also attempted to connect law with spirituality, which at first glance seems to stand in some contradictory relationship. Surprisingly, however, he discovered themes that offer remarkable connections. With his book, he does not present any legal enlightenment, but rather, with exaggeration and a pinch of humor, leads the reader to reflect on the complexity and transience of life in today's world.

The texts are humorously complemented by imaginative illustrations from the classic of Czech visual art, Jiří Slíva.
