Description
When you listen to old Czech songs performed by a scruffy vagabond on Charles Bridge, don't be fooled – behind the mask of a homeless person could hide a successful director of a large bank! Hynek Hamr, the main character of the humorous novella, lives a double life – as a high-ranking manager of a multinational company, he had to contractually commit to giving up his greatest hobby, as any public appearance could diminish the prestige of his position. The fact that he performs in disguise with a heligonka is something he keeps secret even from his beloved wife. When he meets an old jilted love at work, who seeks revenge and will stop at nothing, complications are sure to follow. This Christian story full of humor, tension, and original twists reveals the backstage of both artistic and managerial life.
