Description
The first officially published poetry collection contains sixty-seven poems by a young author (born in 2000), hidden under a pseudonym, in which he deals with the world both close and distant in his own way. He knows his favorite authors well and, perhaps just for his own amusement, communicates with them through sketched paraphrases and partial quotes, responding to questions from their works, even if they are from the last century. Šimon plays with grammatical tricks, errors, typos, gaps, and uses a wide range of words from Latin to graphic symbols and even vulgarisms to keep the reader on edge. With the poetry of Šimon Jan Zrn, one can also argue, but it is definitely worth getting acquainted with it.
