Description
The publication Test of Sentence Comprehensibility in Conversational Noise offers a new audiological examination that has been lacking in the Czech context. It contains not only specific testing options but also a description of the test's development and use, along with examples of results in patients with hearing impairments. The test can be conducted in two variants from 2CD, depending on the type of audiometric device. The use of speech-in-noise audiometry should be part of the test battery for every ENT and phoniatric facility focused on audiology and hearing prosthetics.
