Description
The contemporary novel about the search for a life path takes a young astrophysicist to his first job at an astronomical institute, where he strives to participate in a solar eclipse expedition, hoping to confirm his hypothesis about the behavior of magnetic fields. However, within a few weeks, he bitterly realizes that theory and practice are different things, and the conditions in science are often 'worse than in ballet' or in parliament. Roman thus harshly learns not only the bitter reality of life, the lack of collegiality, but also the lives and worries of his peers, who suddenly seem different from his classmates at the faculty. In a short time, he experiences a series of dramatic events; fortunately for him, he meets a girl whose world revolves around studying dramaturgy at DAMU, music, and working at a dog shelter, and soon thanks to Kateřina, he discovers that there are still relationships and values worth pursuing wholeheartedly...
