Orgánové transplantace u dětí – group of authors (2018)

For many years, the Pediatric Clinic of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and the Motol University Hospital has been organizing regular professional seminars for chief physicians of pediatric inpatient departments and their collaborators. Their aim is mutual meetings, but also sharing medical experiences, insights, and inspiration. We strive to contribute to ensuring that pediatric care in the Czech Republic forms an organic whole of high professional standards. An extraordinary overview of new treatment procedures and their results in practice was the seminar on organ transplants in children, which took place on April 21, 2017. The proceedings from the seminar in printed form, which we now present to you, is also the first volume of a new editorial series of Motol Pediatric Seminars. We believe you will enjoy this series, and we look forward to making more current medical knowledge accessible in a similar manner to all those who wish to learn more about the innovations and trends in pediatric clinical medicine in a comprehensive form in the near future.
