Description
Indian Agonda, France, the foothills of Šumava, Prague - these are some of the places where the verses of Jaroslav Hutka's new poetry collection were created. And just as these places are distant from each other in space, the poems contained here are diverse, colorful - and simultaneously held together in a thoughtful composition of the collection. The verse compositions may remind one of song lyrics, while the free verse poems develop Hutka's poetic work, and the short, minimalist poems contrast with the more extensive verse forms. The collection Agonda represents a new, original stage in Hutka's creation. Verses touching on the infinite coexist here with current observations, eternity with the present, and oriental nature with the mundane human everyday life.
