A reflective memoir by a significant Czech writer, geologist, astrologer, and publicist, author of dozens of professional and popular scientific works focused on geology and related fields, and since 1989 on astrology and hermeticism. Milan Špůrek (* 1938) worked as a scientific researcher at the Geological Institute of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences, from 1975 to 1989 he worked at Geofond, and then became an independent publicist. He has been studying astrology since 1969. In his eleven published books, he has applied scientific methods in astrology. The book Remembrance at the End of an Era presents Špůrek's captivating memories of the last half-century and the people he met. It also includes many clarifications and new findings related to his previously published discoveries. The book is richly illustrated with more than seventy drawings and tables and accompanied by the author's artistic photographs and photographic collages. Its conclusion consists of a complete bibliography of the author's articles and books.
