The large-format world atlas by Polish graphic artists and illustrators Aleksandra and Daniel Mizieliński, which has become a global bestseller and won numerous international awards, will be published in Czech on September 19 by Host. This original illustrated guide for a journey around the world (not just) for young readers includes 6 continents, 42 countries, 4000 images, and two new typefaces designed by the duo of graphic designers and typographers. The maps have been published in 23 languages with a total print run of over 2.5 million copies. "The maps show not only borders, cities, rivers, and mountains, but also historical and cultural landmarks, significant personalities, typical animals and plants, leisure activities, and many other interesting facts," says one of the creators, Daniel Mizieliński. The married couple, awarded the prestigious Bologna Ragazzi Award, worked on the book for three years and personally oversees the processing and printing of each foreign edition, additionally hand-transcribing each country's name into the respective language.
